Why choose a temple thermometer?
The thermometer should be placed on and measure the soft spot at the temple, next to the eye. This is an excellent place to measure temperature, as the temporal artery lies just beneath the skin. This is an ideal method for children, for example, as it allows for quick measurement and has a low margin of error since the thermometer is placed directly on the skin.
The thermometer features a "fever alarm," where the large LCD screen will light up red if a temperature over 37.5 degrees is measured. The result is displayed quickly, and the last 12 measurements are saved in the memory. This makes it easy to track temperature trends. The shape of the thermometer ensures it fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to disinfect.

Body temperature
Normal body temperature is a range that varies depending on where the temperature is measured. A measurement taken in the ear, on the forehead, and rectally at the same time will not yield the same result.
Everyone should know their normal temperature, so it is best to measure it while healthy, then note it down and save it. We recommend writing down the normal temperature for the entire family so you can inform your doctor if you contact them with concerns about a fever.
